CB Prospect – Kevin Barnes

Maryland cornerback Kevin Barnes will be holding a private workout for the Eagles on April 5th. Before visiting the Eagles he will visit Denver, Miami, and Baltimore. Barnes is 6′ 1″ 185 pounds and an all-around athlete. He tore the labrum in his left shoulder in October but has rehabbed well and put up good numbers at the NFL combine including a 4.5 40-yard dash time.

Barnes’ injury has set his draft stock back but he has shown that he has recovered from his injury and still posses great athleticism. We will see what the Eagles think of him after his official visit and whether or not they think they’d like to have him step on board to compete for a spot in nickel and dime packages.
