Trotter works out for Eagles, again

Jeremiah Trotter, who worked out for the Eagles last week, has conducted another workout for the team today. Many were unsure as to if Trotter had any tread left on the tires, but he must have impressed Andy Reid and the staff in order to earn another workout.
I am unsure if Trotter can really come in and be a solid contributor for the team or if this idea is to bring more of a leader onto the defensive side of the ball. The last time he was on the Eagles, they let him go because he couldn’t move very well. I can’t see his knees magically returning to true form in the span of two years and I really wouldn’t agree with this signing if it does happen.
I appreciate everything Trotter has done for this organization but I think the glory days are long past. The only thing I could see him doing to benefit the team would be filling in as a coach. We will see if this signing really takes place.
Do you think the Eagles signing Trotter would be a good move?

Hell yeah they should sign him. We could use any kinda leader we can get.

This team is devoid of leaders on both sides of the ball. I’d not only sign Trotter, I’d sign Runyan too.

From what I am hearing they are going to be offering him a contract. They are in need of a leader but this is just weird. I do like this move tho. The D needs that swagger back. Its easy to say they had it in2 of 3 games but look at who they played. Omar is going to play this is not about replacing our mlb, but trott woudl be used for leadership and run situations. He is only 32, but i worry about his body breaking down. Should be interesting
