The Eagles came out early today and made it look like the Eagles would destroy the San Francisco 49ers today. However, the Eagles allowed the 49ers to stay close. Despite all this, the Eagles were able to escape with a pretty impressive victory as Donovan McNabb threw for over 300 yards and DeSean Jackson has yet another game in which he had over 100 yard receiving.
The Eagles defense forced Alex Smith to throw three interceptions and also forced a fumble. In this victory, the Eagles have clinched themselves a playoff spot. However, they still have not clinched the division which would lock them into a home playoff game.
