No easy road for Eagles in 2010

The Eagles have their fair share of decisions to make this offseason and we hope they make the right ones because they will have the 9th hardest schedule in the league. The dates for the 2010 schedule will not be out for a while but we do know who and where the Eagles will be playing. Below, we have all the Eagles home and away games listed along with the final records of the teams (note: we left out the divisional games).
Looking at the schedule, the nice thing about it is that we see the majority of the tougher opponents at home. The Eagles will have to face the AFC Champion Colts, a few playoff teams, and a few other teams that were on the cusp of being playoff teams.
I hope that the games with Minnesota and the Colts happen later in the year since they’re both dome teams. Maybe we’ll see Brett Favre, maybe we won’t. Maybe we’ll see Donovan McNabb in purple making his return to Philadelphia, maybe we won’t. The only thing that is certain is that the Eagles have a tough schedule. They had a lot of games this year against teams that weren’t very good and faced a lot of criticism for it. Come the end of the year and the playoffs, it seemed the critics were right. If the Eagles make the playoffs in 2010, they truly will deserve to be there.
Home Games:
Green Bay (11-5)
Minnesota (12-4)
Atlanta (9-7)
Houston (9-7)
Indianapolis (14-2)
Away Games:
Chicago (7-9)
Detroit (2-14)
San Francisco (8-8)
Jacksonville (7-9)
Tennessee (8-8)
Also, if you’ve never experienced an Eagles game on the road we highly recommend it. Check out the Green Legion for all away game packages. We will be traveling with them again this year and will make sure to let you know which game we’ll be going to when we decide.
