Titans @ Giants – Picking the Titans in the upset. I think CJ will have a field day against the G-men. Also, VY plays well when he has something to prove.
Bengals @ Panthers – Bengals defense has been stifling and Carson Palmer, Batman, and Robin will take advantage of a weak Carolina secondary. Bengals roll.
Steelers @ Buccaneers – Tough call. Both teams have been playing surprisingly well but as long as the Steeler defense is with Troy Polalmalu I can’t pick against them. Gonna be a great game with Pittsburgh coming out on top.
Bills @ Patriots – Patriots. ‘Nuff said.
Browns @ Ravens – Ravens. Refer to previous Bill @ Patriots for reasoning.
49ers @ Chiefs – I like what I saw from San Francisco last week even though they last and I think this is the week they put it together. Also gonna be a fun game to watch. 49ers win a close one.
Dallas @ Houston – Texans fan rejoice as they are crowned the state champions. Jerry Jones will OD on botox and make some rash personnel moves. I think that’s two weeks in a row I’ve made a botox joke about Jerry Jones. Hey, it makes me laugh.
Lions @ Vikings – The Vikings will not start out 0-3. I also said they wouldn’t lose to the Dolphins. Still, I’m going with Brett Favre. That team has to get it together sometime, right?
Falcons @ Saints – Falcons looked great last week. Saints look decent. I still like the Saints at home in what will be a great divisional game.
Redskins @ Rams – I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Redskins play flat if they look past the Rams to the Eagles game next week. Either way I think they can go in and take care of business; though it won’t be as decisive as some may think.
Eagles @ Jaguars – Didn’t get preview podcast or article posted this week so I’ll let y’all know I’m taking the Eagles. It will be close. For some reason Jacksonville always has our number and we will be looking past them and focusing on next week’s return of McNabb. Luckily Jacksonville has a pathetic defense and only one real offensive weapon.
Colts @ Broncos – Colts showed last week why they are still one of the elite teams in football. The trend will continue in the Mile High City. Colts roll.
Raiders @ Cardinals – I think I’ll sleep during this game. Okay, actually I’ll be watching the Eagles. But I’d never want to actually watch this full game. It’s going to be offensive ineptitude galore and in the end I’ll take the home team to eek out an ugly win.
Chargers @ Seahawks – San Diego crushed last week. Seattle rolled over. I expect both teams to follow the same paths. San Diego in an easy win.
Jets @ Dolphins – I can’t wait to watch these two great defenses slugging it out. This will be a fun one. I like the Jets offense more than the Dolphins’ though so I’m gonna with the Jets squeezing out a close one in a very exciting, throw back kind of game.
Packers @ Bears – Sorry Bears fans. Reality is about to set in. Aaron Rodgers and company will not make the same mistakes that Detroit and Dallas did. Green Bay wins convincingly to end out the week.
Last week: 9-7
