Around the League: Week 16 NFL Picks
Posted on 24. Dec, 2010 by Brennen Dickerson in Around the NFL, Eagles Related
Yeah, I’m a day late. It’s funny how busy the retail scene becomes around the holidays. So, that said I’m bringing you my picks a day late but never a dollar short!
My picks will be in italics.
Panthers @ Steelers – I know this game was on last night. You’re just going to have to trust me when I say I picked the Steelers at home.
Cowboys @ Cardinals – The Cardinals lost to the Panthers. Come on. Give me the Cowboys on the road.
Patriots @ Bills – I like what’s happening in Buffalo. Not that much though. Patriots on the road.
Jets @ Bears – I reserve the right to change this pick if Mark Sanchez doesn’t start but should he start I’m taking the Jets on the road.
Ravens @ Browns – The Ravens finally remembered how great a weapon Ray Rice is. That bodes poorly for Cleveland. Give me the Ravens on the road.
Redskins @ Jaguars – Again, I like what I’m seeing in Oakland. Despite them losing last week, I like what I’m seeing in Jacksonville even more. Give me the Jaguars at home.
Titans @ Chiefs – I still don’t know who the heck the Titans are but I do know that I love what’s happening in Kansas City. Give me the Chiefs at home.
Lions @ Dolphins – The Dolphins can’t win at home and the Lions finally won on the road last week. Both streaks stay alive. Give me the Lions on the road.
49ers @ Rams – The Rams are going to the playoffs (according to me). What has this world come to? Give me the Rams at home.
Chargers @ Bengals – A win over the Browns doesn’t remove the name Bungles. Give me the Chargers on the road.
Texans @ Broncos – I love Tim Tebow. Think he’ll be a great QB one day. But he’s gonna make the Texans secondary look good. For once. Give me the Texans on the road.
Colts @ Raiders – The Raiders find a way to blow things. The Colts find a way to win things. Colts on the road.
Giants @ Packers – The Packers are still, in my mind, the best team in the NFC North. I think they take it to a Giants who will still be hungover after their defeat last weekend. Give me the Packers at home.
Seahawks @ Buccaneers – Remember when the Seahawks were good? Fun times. Give me the Bucs at home.
Vikings @ Eagles – You can find my thoughts on the game here.
Saints @ Falcons – Rule of thumb for picking games: Never pick against the Falcons at home. Though this will be a great game either way, give me the Falcons at home.
Last week: 10-6
Season: 141-83
