With the league year reportedly ready to start soon, there have been a tremendous amount of rumors swirling. Kevin Kolb, Nnamdi Asomugha, Chad Greenway, where will these big named players be playing next year?
One of the biggest names that isn’t a free agent this offseason is Eagles backup QB, Kevin Kolb. Kolb has been linked to the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks primarily, via trade. Is there a dark horse team? The buzz surrounding Kolb right now is that Seattle is offering 2012 draft picks, while the Cardinals are offering Pro Bowl cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
News has come from Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune that Vincent Jackson will not hold up a settlement on the CBA, and will be a Charger for another year. There was news that Jackson and Logan Mankins may try to hold up a deal by trying to receive compensation for last years’ offseason, but Jackson will not slow things up.
Antonio Cromartie will give the Jets the opportunity to pay him, but he says he will not give them a hometown discount. He will test the market, and will sign with the team that offers him the most money according to Cromartie himself.
Eagles unrestricted linebacker, Stewart Bradley has said he would like to return to the Eagles next year.
Ahmad Bradshaw will give the Giants the opportunity to sign him, but would like to see what the Miami Dolphins have to offer. The Dolphins could use a feature back to take the pressure off rookie Daniel Thomas.
Matt Hasselbeck’s brother Tim Hasselbeck claimed that he could see Matt signing with the Titans to tutor rookie Jake Locker. This would allow Locker to learn under a good veteran for a year or two.
We’ll know the legitimacy of these rumors starting next week it seems like, so stay tuned.
