After a day of confusion, with rumors swirling on every subject, there is a lot to share. There have been reports that contradict each other, and reports that make no sense entirely. These are the latest reports and rumors coming from legitimate sources.
The Kevin Kolb speculation has taken a huge hit, due to the Eagles waiting too long to pull the trigger on a deal. The Seahawks have dropped out of the race by signing Tavaris Jackson and reuniting Matt Leinart with Peter Carroll. The Arizona Cardinals seem to have all the power in their hands, so while the Eagles were asking for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a first round pick, they will now command less in the deal.
The Eagles have signed undrafted free agent Noel Devine, who is West Virginia’s all time leader in all purpose yards. If he is to earn a spot on the team, it will be through kick returning.
The Eagles seemed to have lost out on a great number of free agents today that might’ve been worth targeting. Charles Johnson has come to an agreement with the Panthers and Paul Posluszny looks to be headed to Jacksonville per Jay Glazer of foxsports.com. The Eagles will look at Ray Edwards and Jason Babin on the defensive line. Babin is cheaper and had more sacks last year, but Edwards is much younger, and has been terrific in post-season play.
It was reported by Jonathon Tamari that the Eagles will not be bringing back Stewart Bradley or any unrestricted free agents for that matter, but Bradley’s agent has refuted the report by saying the Eagles and him have been in communication.
Many more options have opened up after team’s releases such as Nick Barnett of the Green Bay Packers. He has said that the Eagles are one of four teams that he would like to play for.
On the subject of Nnamdi Asomugha, don’t expect it to happen. He is expected to sign with either the Houston Texans or the New York Jets.
Adam Caplan has stated that DeSean Jackson may not be attending training camp this week, but hasn’t ruled it out entirely. Jackson is seeking a new deal as he is scheduled to make a little more than 500 thousand dollars this year.
Mark Herzlich, cancer surviving linebacker out of Boston College has signed with the New York Giants. He was choosing between the Eagles, Ravens, and Giants, and picked the Eagles division rivals.
The Eagles have spent extensive time evaluating QB Vince Young according to Chris Mortensen. He could be the solution to the team’s backup QB conundrum, assuming the Eagles trade Kevin Kolb.

Jerome Harrison and Reggie Bush are unlikely to sign with the Eagles as they are looking for a starting role, or a major backup role.
Quinten Mikell, who spent his entire eight year career as a safety with the Eagles. He was signed as an undrafted free agent and was picked to the All-Pro team once.
The Cowboys have released a number of players, including Marion Barber, Roy Williams, Marc Columbo, and Leonard Davis. They were about $11 million over the cap, so they have cleared a ton of space to try to bring in a safety.
