Breaking News Report: Clarke Judge of CBS has tweeted that Vince Young is most likely going to Philadelphia to backup Michael Vick. This is the quote here. He has stated that all signs point to Vince Young playing in Philadelphia. It makes sense on both sides with the Eagles needing a real backup quarterback so they can season Mike Kafka a bit. Also, it makes sense for Vince Young because he can really learn the position under coaches who have really done an incredible job with quarterbacks. Young may be able to rebuild his career in Philadelphia, and maybe be able to start somewhere eventually.
In other news, David Akers has signed with the San Francisco 49ers for three years. He was the longest tenured athlete in Philadelphia.
The Eagles released fan favorite Leonard Weaver today. He had this very sad quote on twitter about how the Eagles didn’t even call him to tell him. He was a warrior and deserves more respect.
