Today, the Eagles have addressed their huge need at Right Tackle, sending left guard Todd Herremans to the right side per Jeff McLane. Herremens has done a terrific job at solidifying the left side along with Jason Peters, but will go back to his college position of tackle. Michael Vick will be thrilled to hear this, since that is his blind side.
The Eagles will send backup guard Evan Mathis to help on the left side.
This will be a tremendous benefit for the Eagles, as their right side is in such need of improvement. Todd Herremans is a proven offensive lineman in this league, and was wanted to move to the tackle position by many fans. The only question is how does this effect the once-elite left side of the line?
In other news, Jeremy Maclin and Steve Smith have practiced for the first time today in the Nova Care complex with the team. This is terrific news for any fan because the Michael Vick will now have two more dangerous weapons to throw to.
