The logic is the fact that the Eagles have many holes on their defense and you can’t replace them all in one weekend with the draft.

If the Eagles want to be contenders this year, they need a combination of free agents and talented rookies to fill these holes.

I don’t follow your logic. The eagles dropped the ball
because they are to astute to sign de’s in there 30’s. Its
March the draft (the thing good teams use) is not until next
month. Calm down! I’m sure within the next month you will
write an enlightening piece on what a smart move the fo made. Don’t add to the annual “why didn’t the eagles sign the guy we won’t remember next year” list. Thanks.

We will see soon enough. Free agency starts in a few hours.

I don’t think Peppers will be on the market all that long, so if the Eagles want to make a move they better make it fast.

I don’t know if there will be a player out there that they like that much that they’ll trade up.

I think the Eagles are notorious for trading back and the times they do trade up, it’s not by a whole lot.

There are definitely pros and cons that exist with Peppers and the Eagles will have to make sure they weigh them all out.

I think there are a lot of talented defensive players in the draft this year. I hope the Eagles take one that turns out to be a star.

The Eagles have a bunch of draft picks in the early rounds so I would not be surprised to see them package a couple of picks and move up to someone. Maybe combine one of their Qbs with a pick and to get into the top 15. I would think they would look to go defensive line first but like you said it all depends on FA signings. It all begins on Friday

Sure he could help, but Peppers also becomes lazy at times. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them bring in a FA DE but I don’t think it will be pPppers. I believe Derrick Burgess is out there and the Eagles may look this direction but also take a DE in the first couple of rounds in the draft.

We know they need help the defensive side of the ball. Should be very interesting to see what they do with the draft and in the FA period.

I do think Peppers can add a lot of value to this team, I’m just not sure if it’s going to happen.
