Delmas is 6′ 0″ and weighs in at 196 pounds. He as touted to be the first overall safety pick in this year’s draft. In his senior year, Delmas had 109 tackles and four interceptions. He recorded a 4.5 second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.

Although the Eagles have looked into Delmas, I don’t see him being a realistic option for the team. Drafting a safety does not rank that high on the Eagles needs after addressing the position in free agency. Delmas had over 20 teams attend his Pro Day. It seems almost certain that by the time the Eagles consider drafting someone at the position that Delmas will be long gone.
