The Eagles have conducted a private workout with Liberty runningback Rashad Jennings. Jennings, at 6′ 1″ 230 pounds, rushed for 1507 yards and 17 touchdowns in his senior season. Safety Rashad Johnson visited the Eagles today. Out of Alabama, Johnson posted a 4.49 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine. He recorded 94 tackles his junior year and 82 his senior year. During those two years he recorded 11 interceptions. Johnson could afford to put on some weight as he only weighs 185 pounds. [...]

Eagles sign Baker to one-year deal

Today, the Eagles signed free agent safety Rashad Baker to a one-year deal. Baker, 27, was last in Oakland but also spent time with New England, Buffalo, and Minnesota. At 5′ 10″ 200 pounds, Baker has never had stellar numbers recording only 78 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 5 interceptions in his 5 year career. [...]
